The DCAF board is pleased to publish our FY2010 Annual Report! We are extremely proud of the work we’ve accomplished in the last year, and are excited for what 2011 will bring. We are so grateful to all of our case managers, volunteers, donors, and supporters like you.
Some key facts from the report:
1,766 women and girls called the DCAF hotline last year, averaging 147 calls per month. The volume of calls nearly doubled compared to FY2009, where we received 971 calls.
DCAF case managers gave an average grant of $149 per patient.
Demand for services has increased over 300% during the last 4 years.
The report also includes an update on how the new health care insurance reform bill affects abortion access, and statistics on our callers and finances. Read the full report [PDF] here!
Here is one last statistic from the report: 95 cents of every dollar you donate to DCAF goes toward funding abortion care for women from the DC Metropolitan area.
