DCAF volunteers are leaders in the choice movement. Looking to get more involved? DCAF volunteer Maggie G. shares an exciting opportunity with one of our partner organizations and local clinics:
Do you want to get more involved in the reproductive justice field, either in your career or during your spare time? Do you want to learn about reproductive justice, health, and policy? You’re in luck. Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington are now accepting applications for the next class of its Developing Leaders Program!
PPMW is seeking young professionals to join its Developing Leaders Program, a nine-month long program for people (anyone! not just women!) age 24-35 who are passionate about reproductive freedom, health, and justice.
The volunteer-run program is an excellent opportunity for young professionals to become engaged and active supporters of PPMW and of reproductive freedom for all. The program offers training, mentoring, and professional development, in addition to providing skill-building experiences that will prepare young professionals to become immersed in the field of reproductive health, regardless of their respective professional background.
To learn more and apply for the program, visit PPMW’s website. Applications are due by Aug. 1.
If you have any questions about the program, contact Maggie G. at email@example.com.
