We have a new president and many feelings!

Big news! Voters from across the country came out in record breaking numbers to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

We are feeling all of the things in this moment, as are many of you. The incoming administration will open up possibilities for us to push for much needed change.

Because is still so much work to do.

Abortion remains out of reach for many – especially Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC), people who face documentation barriers, transgender and gender nonconforming people, and other people who are routinely denied access to health care in many other states across the country. And these barriers are compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in places that are already impacted by harsh abortion restrictions, delayed access to health care, and economic instability.

Defending against anti-abortion restrictions is not enough when the reality is that abortion is accessible only to people who have resources.

DCAF remains committed to ensuring abortion is available to all who need it, regardless of how much money they have or where they live. There’s a long road ahead for abortion access, and we need you with us.

If you are able, please consider making a monthly gift to DCAF to support abortion access all year long.
