“Please join us at OUR NEW LOCATION - RED DERBY - on Wednesday, May 15th at 6pm for our Care Kit Packing Event. We’ve got the party room reserved for us, so it’s sure to be a blast!! We will be packing close to 500 care kits (so the more the merrier - bring your friends!) along with raising money for DCAF, and, most importantly - hanging out with our friends and supporting a wonderful local business.

Supporting our local abortion funds is more important than ever, given the recent and continuing rollback of reproductive rights. DCAF helps supports women traveling to the area fund their abortions, and is one of the only abortion funds in the area that has no income restrictions, helps close the gap for funding from national abortion funds (these funds usually only cover 50% of a procedure), and recently, has had a huge surge of applications since the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Now more than ever - they need our help!

Further, the ability of working class people to access reproductive healthcare is a socialist concern. Access to resources has become more difficult due to supply issues and increased costs, and the Dobbs decision has led to increased need and demand for reproductive care including Plan B, contraceptives, pregnancy tests as well as information for accessing abortion across the Metro DC area.
