We Lived Through This

We are so grateful to every single one of you who joined us last week at our Holiday Party! We know it was a big ask to gather together to celebrate a very bad year, and we don’t take your commitment to DCAF and this community for granted. This continues to be the best party in DC because of all of you: you embraced our very riot grrrl theme (the outfits!) and packed Lost Generation on a Tuesday night with so much love and rage. It’s incredible to know that our community will gather for a big, pro-abortion party no matter how bad the year. Thank you for always showing up and showing out for DCAF. 

We also want to give a special shout out to all our amazing vendors and volunteers, who lent their time, passion, and talent to DCAF. There are so many folks to thank but we want to highlight a few: Lost Generation Brewing Company, DJ Sunni, Cherub Tree, Chryus Coffee, Cry Baby Studios (Simba and Gabbi!), Skye Marinda, Catalyst Hot Dogs, and Uncle Chips. The generosity of this community makes nights like Tuesday possible. 

Finally, and mostly importantly: Thank you to our sponsors. Because of you, we raised over $84,000 for our callers! 

Next year, DCAF will be celebrating 30 years! We are already thinking about the theme and vibe but it’s going to be hard to beat this one. Thanks again for always making our holiday party a night to remember.
