The rumors are true: your local abortion fund is turning 30 and we're transforming everyone's favorite holiday party into an anniversary party at DC's most iconic venue: the 9:30 Club.
Join us on Sunday, December 7 to celebrate thirty years of funding abortion, surviving, and (sometimes) thriving in DC. For one night only, let's remember the past three decades together–the good, the bad, and the Crocs–and get ready for another 30 years of culture and abortion access.
Whether you've known DCAF for thirty years or thirty days, this party is for you. From our origins in 1995, to hiring our first staff members in 2022, to today, where we are supporting thousands every year, we've seen a lot and we're not going anywhere.
Our challenge to you: consider tripling your gift this year to honor everything we've weathered: the Hyde amendment, the fall of Roe, the lack of statehood, national funding cuts, a system that continues to harm abortion seekers...we could go on for a few paragraphs.
